1. There is no guarantee of playing time. A position on the field and playing time is earned by hard work, proper execution, work ethic, and effort.
2. Player positions, playing time, and baseball philosophy are three topics not to be discussed during practices or game times with the coaching staff. If you have a question for the coaches in this regard, please wait 24 hours after the practice or game and contact the coaching staff via phone or email. Coaches reserve the right to discuss all matters in person and all questions/discussions about other players on the team are not part of the conversation. Please encourage players to discuss playing time directly with the coaches.
3. Arrive 10 minutes prior to start of practice. We typically reserve practice fields and facilities and can make better use of the fields and facilities if players are warmed up prior to taking the field.
4. During practices and games, it is appropriate and appreciated when you cheer for your player. However, it is not appropriate to coach from the stands. Any communication to the players regarding game plan, proper technique, baseball philosophy, etc. is to come from Frisco Riders coaches.
5. Parents and siblings are not allowed in the dugout during games. We need the players focused on the game without distractions. If your player is injured, sick, or needs food or drink the rule can be relaxed. Please do not come to the dugout during games.
6. Parents and players are expected to conduct themselves appropriately at all games, practices, and baseball facilities. Conduct deemed unbecoming will be addressed appropriately.
7. Attendance of practices and games is expected unless absence/conflicts are unavoidable.
8. If you know of a conflict that will prevent your player from being at a game or practice, please communicate to the coaching staff via email or text.
9. There will be a players and coaches only meeting at the conclusion of every game. All players are expected to be in attendance.
10. Players should have a positive attitude during games and practices.
11. Both parents and players are expected to be respectful of all opposing Coaches, Players, Parents and Umpires at all times.
